I’ve been on nursing duty on and off this past week, helping my Mom recover from her second full knee replacement. Stella and I have been spending a lot of time at her house, which will be a sneak preview of what’s to come when I move in there full time at the beginning of July. The condo has sold, but house hunting in Seattle has been quite difficult – low inventory and lots of competition. Most houses don’t last longer than 2 or 3 days on the market – it’s nuts people! I must admit, I’m not thrilled to be moving home at the age of 31 but living essentially mortgage/bill free and frequent access to puppy sitting might be OK for a bit. I don’t think Stella will mind.
