All Hallows

Spent last night at our annual All Hallows Eve party at Chateau Ste. Michelle. I was a decorating committee of one and it took me two days to spookify the place. We had a creepy candy bar (my pride and joy!) as well as a killer appetizer buffet, dancing and a DJ. It was a big change from previous years parties where we did 6 course served dinners, but I think guests really enjoyed themselves. Wish I could have captured more because it was so freakin’ cool! Oh well, that’s what happens when you work!

Spook-tacular!

Getting into the Halloween spirit this week with my first attempt at the Sally Hansen Nail Polish Strips. Been wanting to try these out for a while now and I came across these babies (on sale for $5.99!) and I had to try them. A bit nerve racking at first, but I got the hang of it after a few and they turned out pretty darn good if I do say so myself! I’ve had them on for a few days now and have had tons of compliments! They’ve held up well too – I’ve washed dishes with them and have hit up the gym too. Will definately be trying these again!

Another successfull Halloween! Spent the evening playing beer pong at our friend Kyle’s newly purchased house in Renton. The Geisha sleeves weren’t exactly ideal for hittin’ those cups and our winning streak was broken by Alice and the Mad Hatter. Oh well. We saw quite a few great costumes including Dog the Bounty Hunter and his wife, the guy who does the Humpty Dance song and a homemade Oscar the Grouch. Can’t forget my sister, Liz, who rocked a handpainted Sponge Bob Square Pants outfit!
